ECAC, a 501(c)(3) corporation, will be providing assistance in implementing the following projects and initiatives primarily in the villages of India:
Implement self-supporting projects such as distributing income-generating animals, poultry (e.g., goats, cows, chicken, ducks) and establishing cottage industries (e.g., basket weaving, handicrafts) to promote sustainable livelihoods.
Establish and support schools, fund teacher salaries, provide scholarships, and operate after-school programs with meals. Additionally, enhance literacy through local-language initiatives and empower youth through mentoring, sports, and cultural activities.
Distribute clothes and blankets in remote areas of the country to vulnerable populations, especially during cold seasons.
Provide safe and modest housing for widows, orphans, and homeless families, ensuring secure living conditions.
Deliver food through meal programs and food banks, while providing agricultural assistance to villages, including quality seeds, farming tools, and training, to enhance farming efficiency, ensure food security, and alleviate recurring poverty.
Provide vocational training for youth and adults, establish tailoring schools with sewing machines, and promote skill development for income generation.
Facilitate water storage and distribution, support the drilling of borewells, and develop water projects to ensure access to clean drinking water and adequate irrigation for farming.
Set up rural clinics, offer free medical camps, and run health awareness programs to improve community well-being. Provide care for seniors, promote mental health through counseling and awareness, support addiction recovery, and ensure inclusive services for people with disabilities.
Offer emergency aid during natural disasters, providing food, clothing, temporary shelters, and recovery support.
Initiate tree planting, recycling programs, and neighborhood improvement projects to promote sustainability.
